As a team captain how do I communicate with my team members?
If you're a team captain, it's a good idea to communicate with your team members on a regular basis in order to keep your team members motivated and informed about any important challenge details.
You can communicate with your team members using the message centre located near the top of your site page. Simply click on Inbox to send a message via the message centre. Next, click on the "new" button located on the message centre tool bar. When the new message window box appears, click on "To", then click on "Team" in the list. A recipient list will appear in a small window pop-up, double click on the team name of which you are a captain. Click on the small "x" in the top right corner of the recipient list window box to close that window box and return to the new message box. Finish by typing in the message into the new message box and click on the "Send" button at the top of the new message box. The message will be sent to all team member's message centre as well as their email addresses if they filled out an email address on their profile page when registering on the site.
Team captains may also communicate with team members via the team message board or by viewing the team members list (see "how do I view my team members progress" in this section of the guide).
