What do the challenge icons mean?
User challenges
- All registered users challenge- All users who are a member of the site before and/or during the challenge will be automatically registered to the challenge. To participate, register and login!
- Optional users challenge- Only users who manually join the challenge will be registered in this challenge. To join an optional users challenge, go to the challenge page, place the mouse pointer over "more" next to the users challenge you wish to join, and then click on "join challenge".
Team challenges
- All registered teams challenge- All teams approved on the site before or during the challenge will automatically be joined to the challenge. To participate, register yourself and join a team!
- Optional teams challenge- Only team captains that manually join their team to the challenge will be registered in this challenge. To do so, team captains must go to the challenge page and place the mouse pointer on "more" next to the challenge of which they wish to add their team. Next, team captains select "Add a team". Once the optional team challenge window box appears, the team captain must click on "add to challenge" for each team that they wish to join to the challenge. Note: For users to participate in an optional team challenge, they need to join a team that is registered in the challenge (see "how do I join a team" in the teams section of this guide).
- Am I joined to this challenge? If there is a big gray check mark next to the challenge, you are a member of that challenge. If there is not a big gray check mark next to the challenge, you are not a member of that challenge.
Types of challenges:
- Activity tracker challenge – track your activity on the activity tracker or any activity challenge page, all activity on the site is linked, so it doesn’t matter where you track your activity!
- Weight loss challenge – track your weight on the weight loss tracker page or any weight loss challenge page.
- Tracker challenge – tracks specific health behaviours using health tracker icons for the challenge.
