How do I add steps from my route? To add steps from your own personal route, simply click on the link to your route under the "My Routes" section below the default map on your activity/step tracker page. Next, click on the "Add" link in the route information box in the top right corner of your personal route. Choose the date that you completed this route, then select the type of activity (e.g. walking, running) in the dropdown box, and lastly, click on "ok".
Note: If you filled out your stride length on your profile page (if it was asked), your stride length will be accounted for in the personal routes distance. (total kms/miles) Your stride length is also taken into consideration when you add steps from a pedometer and will be shown on the "My progress" widget on the user dashboard (and the activity tracker page) in the distance calculation. However, your stride length is not considered on challenge maps or in the challenge rankings calculations. (Challenge maps/rankings are still based on 1,320 steps per km or 2,120 steps per mile.
