How do I communicate with other challenge participants?
If you have joined a challenge, you can communicate with other challenge participants by posting a message to the challenge message board (if the challenge administrator chose to have a challenge message board when creating the challenge). If so, to access the challenge message board, go to the challenge page and click on the icon next to the challenge name. You may also access the challenge message board (next to the challenge name) in the "My Challenges" area of your dashboard located on the welcome page upon login.
When the message board page appears, type in your message and click on the submit button. You may also choose to upload an image or a document to post with your message.
Your message may need to be approved by the challenge administrator before it is visible to other challenge partcipants. If so "Requires Approval" will appear next to your message on the board. If your message does not require approval, it will say "New" next to your message.
You will see a yellow star on the message board icon if new messages have been posted to the message board since the last time you have viewed the message board.
You may also choose to edit and/or delete any messages that you post to the challenge message board. Simply click on the edit or delete button next to the message that you wish to edit/delete. If you edit your message and the messages require approval from the challenge administrator before it is viewable to other users, it will need to be re-approved before your message re-appears on the challenge message board. If messages do not require approval before it is shown on the challenge message board, it will automatically re-appear on the board.
Note: Challenge Administrators are sent a notification via email informing them that there is a message awaiting approval on the challenge message board. Challenge Administrators have the option of editing and/or deleting any message submitted to the challenge message board.
