How do I join my team to an optional team challenge?

To join an optional team challenge, you MUST be the team captain. To do so, team captains must go to the challenge page and place the mouse pointer on "more" next to the challenge to which they wish to add their team. Next, team captains select "Add a team". Once the optional team challenge window box appears, the team captain must click on "add to challenge" for each team that they wish to join to the challenge. The team captain may also join their team(s) to an optional team challenge by clicking on "Join a Challenge" located in the "My Challenges" area of the dashboard on the welcome page upon login.

Note: For users to participate in an optional team challenge, they need to join a team that is registered in the challenge (see "how do I join a team" in the teams section of this guide).
