How can I communicate with my team members and captain?
If you have joined a team, you can communicate with your team members and captain by posting a message to the team message board (if the team captain chose to have a team message board when creating the team). If so, to access the team message board, go to the team page and click on the icon. You may also access your team message board in the "My Teams" area (next to your team name) on your dashboard located on the welcome page upon login.
When the message board page appears, type in your message and click on the submit button. You may also choose to upload an image or a document to post with your message.
Your message may need to be approved by the team captain before it is visible to other team members. If so a "Requires Approval" will appear next to your message on the board. If your message does not require approval, it will say "New" next to your message.
You will see a yellow star on the message board icon if new messages have been posted to the message board since the last time you have viewed the message board.
You may also choose to edit and/or delete any messages that you post to the team message board. Simply click on the edit or delete button next to the message that you wish to edit/delete. If you edit your message and the messages require approval from your team captain to post, it will need to be re-approved before your message re-appears on the team message board. If messages do not require approval before it is shown on the team message board, it will automatically re-appear on the board.
Note: Team captains are sent a notification via email informing them that there is a message awaiting approval on their team message board. Team captains have the option of editing and/or deleting any message submitted to the team message board.
