How do I view my individual challenge progress on a map?
Challenge routes are represented by a solid blue line. For individual challenges, your current progress is marked by a green arrow pointing downwards. The solid blue line that marks the challenge route changes to purple once you have travelled that portion of the challenge route. If you place your mouse pointer over top of the green arrow, a small window box appears displaying your nickname, total steps and distance. Note: If you did not fill out a nickname on your profile page, your nickname will appear as anonymous. Also, an adjusted distance will be shown if the challenge administrator set a step scale value when creating the challenge so your progress on the challenge route is adjusted accordingly. As such, if the step scale value was set to 5, then the adjusted distance is 5 times that of the actual distance you've progressed. e.g. 5 km shows up as 25km on the challenge map. However, the challenge rankings below the map is still based on the actual number of steps and km's/miles you've entered.
You may also see small information points along the route marked by an "i". As you track your progress and approach these information points,a small window will pop up and display a message that the challenge administrator has set up. You may also click on the "i" directly to view the message in the pop-up window.
The starting point of a challenge route is represented by a small house. If you place your mouse pointer over the house, a small window pop up appears that displays the challenge route total steps and distance.
The finishing point of a challenge route is represented by a small white flag that will also display the challenge route's total steps and distance if you place the mouse pointer over top.
