I forgot my password how do I reset it?

There are two ways in which your password can be reset, only one of which is available on your site depending on the site administrator's choice. In either case, click on the "forgot password" link on the welcome page and follow the instructions.

1. Have a Temporary Password emailed to you.

i) Click on the “Forgot Password” link on your Welcome page.
ii) Enter your username into the Forgot password user name text box and click the submit button.
iii) The system will automatically generate a temporary password for you and e-mail it to the e-mail address specified in your profile.
iv) When the forgot password e-mail arrives, copy the password exactly as it appears in the e-mail, use this as your temporary password, you will be prompted to create a new password when you log in.
v) If you do not receive a temporary password within a few minutes, check your junk email folder to be sure it was not flagged as SPAM by your computer's firewall. If it's not there, contact your site administrator at their email/phone number displayed on the "forgot password" page.

Note: letters in the forgot password e-mail appear in lower case; numbers appear in higher case. Example: 0o1lil1 (zero, oh, one, el, aye, el, one) If you filled out your e-mail address on your profile page upon registration, you can have a temporay password sent to you if you forget your password.

2. Answer Security Questions that you completed on your profile page.

i) Click on the "Forgot Password" link on your Welcome page.
ii) Enter your username into the Forgot password username text box and click the submit button.
iii) Enter the answer(s) to the next question(s)* that you are prompted to complete.
iv) Enter the answers to the security questions that you originally answerered on your profile page upon registration.
v) Enter in a new password twice and click on "change password" to complete.
vi) If you have problems resetting your password, contact your site administrator at their email/phone number displayed on the "forgot password" page.

*Note: These questions come from fields you completed on your profile page upon registration. If you have forgotten your password recovery security answers and are unable to login to your account, please contact your site administrator.
